Instructions for visiting a store:

  1. Visit assigned store

  2. Bring in a collateral bag

  3. Wait until they are not busy then strike up a conversation

    1. What POS do they currently use? Do they like it?

    2. Do they take debit?

    3. How many ATMs do they have? What’s their ATM fee?

    4. Is there a manager around to leave this information with?

      1. If the manager comes out, engage them in a conversation about the offer

      2. If the manager does not come out, try to get the managers name

  4. Grab some sort of contact information 

  5. Take a photo before you leave

  6. Fill out the above form

    1. Company name: Store name

    2. First name & Last name & Email: This should be the store manager but if you couldn’t get the store manager’s info, just put in a placeholder or whomever you spoke with.

    3. City: Where is the store located

    4. Rating: How interested was the store?

      1. Hot: They seemed very interested in the offer

      2. Warm: They are definitely looking for a new POS and seem interested

      3. Cold: They did not want to talk and/or were very happy with their current POS

    5. Number of Locations: Is this a franchise?

    6. Number of Terminals: How many checkout stations do they have at the store?

    7. Number of ATMs: How many ATMs are in the store?

    8. ATM Fee: What is their ATM Fee?

    9. Debit?: Do they accept debit already?

    10. Current POS: Who is their current POS provider?

    11. Description: Describe the store’s setup

    12. Notes: To be used to add any notes about your interaction with the store. You can also use this area to add any additional contact information you gathered (ie a second contact or a phone number, etc)

  7. Name the photo that you took earlier with the store’s name and then upload it to the Google Drive here
